Tender and mournful, Astarion’s & Grave memorializes one of the most poignant moments in Astarion’s story. Framed in silver solder, this piece features a stylized grave with a delicate yellow-and-white flower—mirroring the one placed in his honor. At its heart, Astarion’s quiet words, “It’s time to try living again,” are hand-painted in glittering silver, preserving a moment of peace and healing. This handcrafted stained glass panel is inspired by the iconic leaf from Animal Crossing, reimagined as a vibrant glass suncatcher. Made with two shades of rich green glass, the piece comes to life in the light. Each tone catching and refracting differently to create subtle shifts in color throughout the day.
At the center, where the leaf’s signature cutout would be, I’ve added a circular glass bevel. This prism-like detail throws beautiful light patterns and adds an extra layer of movement and sparkle that changes depending on the angle of the sun.
